When I started Erratum many years ago, I wasn’t chasing a plot so much as a feeling. I knew my characters, and I knew I wanted to give die-hard Point Horror fans like myself something to ease the ache that still creeps in from time to time. Even if Point Horror, in all its glory, doesn’t quite belong in today’s world, the longing for it never really goes away.

So I wanted to find a balance with Erratum, formerly Writer’s Ruin. Am I 100% happy with it? Of course not. I doubt any author is ever truly happy with their final product, and if they are, they’re certainly refined in the craft!

Maybe it would have been better if I’d completed it when I originally finished it, and putting it away all these years was a mistake. Or maybe the gap gave it the distance it needed. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it if you read it, and please leave a review if you can.
